Custom Prints

All prints are custom printed by Malcolm Edwards.  

The Format

Malcolm’s images are created in any one of three formats: 4” x 5”, medium format or 35 mm.

The Film

All images are film based. Black and white images are created with Kodak film, either Tmax or high speed infrared. A variety of negative and positive films are used for the color images.

The Process

Black and white images are archivally processed and printed on fiber based silver gelatin paper.

Color images from positive transparencies are printed on Ilfochrome Classic Deluxe paper, formerly called Cibachrome. Images from color negatives are printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper. The longevity of both of these processes is excellent.

Presentation

Each print is double matted on museum quality mat board, ready for framing.

The copyright marking shown on each print on this website will not be on the prints which you order.

The print you purchase will show far more detail, subtlety and tonal range or color than shown on your screen because of the limitations inherent in a computer monitor.
